Grants Writing & Grant Management | Budget Justification Narrative
As part of my Grant Writing & Grants Management course, I developed a comprehensive budget justification narrative for a grant proposal aimed at funding care packages for children undergoing cancer treatment. This project required detailed financial planning, alignment of expenses with grantor priorities, and clear articulation of the funding needs to support program sustainability. Through this work, I strengthened my grant writing skills, deepened my understanding of nonprofit budgeting, and learned how to effectively justify expenses to secure funding for mission-driven initiatives.
Tech & Public Administration
Digital Service Discussion
In my MPA capstone portfolio, this Tech & Public Administration discussion focuses on the role of digital services in enhancing government communication and accessibility. Effective communication is essential for transparency, public trust, and service delivery, and technology plays a crucial role in bridging gaps between government and diverse communities. My discussion explores how digital tools can improve citizen engagement and streamline public sector operations. By integrating best practices from the UK Government Digital Service (GDS) principles, I emphasize strategies for making digital government services more inclusive, efficient, and responsive to public needs.

Economics for Public Administration | Problem Sets
As part of my Economics for Public Administration course, I completed a series of problem sets applying economic principles to real-world public sector challenges, with a strong focus on how economic policies impact diverse populations. These exercises required analyzing fiscal policy, public goods, cost-benefit analysis, and economic decision-making within government and nonprofit organizations—while considering the varied needs of different communities. Through this work, I developed a keen awareness of how economic policies can either advance or hinder equity and inclusiveness. Additionally, I strengthened my ability to interpret data through an inclusive lens, ensuring policy recommendations accounted for diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. These projects also enhanced my ability to develop clear and accessible communication strategies, translating complex economic concepts into meaningful insights for diverse stakeholders in public administration.
