Resource Development for Nonprofit Organizations | Resource Development Plan
For my Resource Development for Nonprofit Organizations course, I created a comprehensive Resource Development Plan focused on sustainable fundraising strategies for a nonprofit organization, WITH Grace Initiative. This project involved assessing diverse revenue streams, donor engagement strategies, grant opportunities, and corporate partnerships. I conducted a SWOT analysis to identify opportunities and challenges, developed a case for support, and outlined a multi-year strategy to ensure financial sustainability. This project enhanced my skills in strategic fundraising, donor stewardship, and financial planning within the nonprofit sector.
Human Resource Management | Social Equity Discussion
In my MPA capstone portfolio, the Public Service Perspective is central to my discussion on social equity in HR management. This assignment examines the difference between diversity management and affirmative action. This also reviews social equity and how public sector HR policies can either promote or hinder equitable workplace practices, particularly in recruitment, retention, and professional development. By applying a social equity lens, I highlight strategies for ensuring that public service organizations reflect and effectively serve the diverse communities they represent.
